The first trailer for “13″ has been released, its dubbed and doesn’t feature Emmanuelle though. :blank: The film still has no release date – but at least the trailer is a good sign of it being released at some point!

Gela Babluani’s remake of his French-language film “13 Tzameti.” A naive young man assumes a dead man’s identity and finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men.

This year Brita FilterForGood is bringing the Sundance Film Festival to you through the FilterForGood Film Project. Brita has teamed up with The Sundance Institute and the Environmental Media Association (EMA) to give people who are passionate about making the world a better place a chance to win a trip to the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of a film inspired by you!

FilterForGood, a partnership between Brita and Nalgene, began as a way to motivate people to make small changes to protect the planet, such as filling a reusable bottle with filtered tap water. Since 2007, more than 200 million disposable bottles have been kept out of landfills thanks to those who have taken the FilterForGood pledge, proving that small changes really can make a big difference. Through the Brita FilterForGood Film Project, Brita and its partners want to empower people to add their voice and vision to the movement.

Now through October 8, visit Brita FilterForGood on Facebook to submit an environmental challenge facing your community. Share how you would like to motivate and educate others to take action to meet the challenge.

Submissions will be voted on by the Facebook community and the top three most compelling stories will become the inspiration for short films directed by Sundance Film Festival filmmakers — Jeremy Konner, Amy Grappell and Destin Daniel Cretton — to be screened at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and air on the Sundance Channel.

Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui, a member of the EMA Young Hollywood Board, is lending her voice to the project by helping to raise awareness of how films can inspire a path to a healthier planet.

“Film is a powerful tool that can be used to educate people about environmental issues and get them to take action,” said Chriqui. “I’m really excited to see what great ideas come from the FilterForGood Film Project.”

Get involved with the FilterForGood Film Project and visit www.facebook.com/BritaFilterForGood to:

1. Voice a challenge
2. Cast a vote
3. Inspire a film
4. See it launch

Attendees at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival will take part in the FilterForGood movement firsthand. With Brita and Nalgene’s help, more than 40,000 Festival attendees will have the chance to make an immediate difference by carrying limited-edition FilterForGood Nalgene bottles and refilling at Brita Hydration Hubs located throughout the Festival.

“Since 2009 we’ve worked with Brita and Nalgene to make the Sundance Film Festival more sustainable,” said Sarah Pearce, Director of Operations, Sundance Film Festival. “Through our partnership with FilterForGood and the Film Project, we are committed to finding ways at the Festival and beyond to motivate positive change for the planet.”

Cause Celeb highlights a celebrity’s work on behalf of a specific cause. This week, we speak with actress Emmanuelle Chriqui and actor Ron Livingston about Women’s Expressive Theater (WET). They attended WET’s annual benefit, Stars Give Love, on April 19 in New York City, hosted by the Angel Orensanz Foundation. The awards benefit honored women who change the way the world sees women, followed by a one-night only performance of short plays written by women. This year, Nora Ephron, director of “Julie & Julia,” presented the We Empower Together award to Lynda Obst. Maria Zuckerman, vice president of HBO Films, received the Risk Taker Award.

WET strives to empower women and girls by making media productions that change stereotypes and advocate for equality. Their Risk Takers Series is a free program in New York City for girls age 13 to 19 to help them learn about communication, leadership, and media-literacy skills. Another WET program is the The INKubator: WET FILMS & WET PLAYS, where writers have their work reviewed by WET’s development team and producers and performed in public readings attended by insiders in the theater and entertainment industry.

Chriqui has appeared in multiple films and television shows including “You Don’t Mess with Zohan” and “Entourage.” She also performed in one of the plays at the Stars Give Love benefit.

Livingston has appeared in shows like “Sex and the City” and “Band of Brothers” and appears in the film “Dinner for Schmucks.” He also participated in one of the plays at the Stars Give Love benefit.

Q: Can you tell me what this event and this organization means to women, especially in a year where Kathryn Bigelow became the first woman to be awarded an Academy Award for Directing at the Oscars?

Chriqui: It’s exactly that. We’re really about trying to bring women to the forefronts, as directors, as playwrights, as actors. Just everything, women have such a voice, something to share. I think by Kathryn Bigelow winning that Oscar, we can see that, “Yeah, women can do it.” Women can do a guys film and kill it. Women can do anything!

So it’s really lovely, because this mission is really about empowering women and empowering young girls as the charity portion of it. I just really believe in it, because, as wonderful as this business is, it’s a male-dominated industry and it’s very difficult. You read these wonderful scripts and you get all excited, and they’re like, “Well, we have to see who the male lead is first,” and you’re like, “really?” When is that going to change? Or, “That movie will never work, it’s two female leads.” That is heartbreaking to me.

Unless you’re like a super-uber ridiculous star, you almost don’t stand a chance. By coming out tonight, by supporting it and supporting the new directors, the new playwrights, and celebrating the women, it really gives us a chance to make a difference.

HBO made it official: “Entourage” will end next summer.

The network will order a shortened final season of its longest-running series, possibly only six episodes, which will bring the show to a conclusion in 2011.

“The plan right now is we’ll finish up this season, we’ll do a shorter order for next season, we’ve talked about six,” said Michael Lombardo, HBO programming president. “[Creator Doug Ellin] is appropriately reserving — he wants to write a film, but wants to do it when the story will make sense. He’s pitched other shows to us. I will expect that within the next couple years [he'll have another show on HBO]. But ‘Entourage’ next summer will definitely be the final season.”

Also: “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” executives said, has no end in sight provided Larry David wants to continue the show, which should return next year; “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency” may have an HBO movie or two but is finished as a series; the prospect of having David Milch, Dustin Hoffman and Michael Mann working on the same horse-racing drama “Luck” will “be either magic or mayhem.”
