In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay is working on ’5 Days of War’ for Blu-ray on November 29.
This action-packed international thriller from acclaimed director Renny Harlin (‘Die Hard 2,’ ‘Cliffhanger’) is based on the true events of a renegade American journalist, his cameraman and a local woman caught behind enemy lines during the devastating five day war between Russian and the Georgian Republic.
From writers Mikko Alanne and David Battle, ’5 Days of War’ features an all-star cast including Rupert Friend (‘Young Victoria,’ ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’), Emmanuelle Chriqui (HBO’s “Entourage,” ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’), Richard Coyle (‘Prince of Persia’), Andy Garcia (‘City Island,’ ‘Oceans 12′), Val Kilmer (‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,’ ‘Batman Forever’), and proves director Harlin to still be the master of the high-octane action genre.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and there doesn’t seem to be any supplements on this release.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.97.

In a recent interview with ComicBookResources Emmanuelle Chriqui discusses her new role as Cheetara in the television return of Thundercats. Chriqui is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Sloan Mcquewick on HBO’s award winning series Entourage, and she was able to slip us a few clues about the upcoming season finale.
Be sure to watch Thundercats every Friday night at 8:30 PM EST on Cartoon Network.
Check out this clip of Emmanuelle Chriqui in the final “Entourage” episode that airs tomorrow at 10:30PM only on HBO.
She was only supposed to have a three-episode arc, but Entourage fans were so smitten with actress Emmanuelle Chriqui’s character Sloan McQuewick, that the 33-year-old beauty ended up as a series regular.
And with the show in its eighth and final season, male viewers aren’t the only ones sad to say goodbye to Chriqui, who was voted “Most Desirable Woman’ by AskMen.com last year. Fashionistas are obsessed with the star’s on-and-off screen look, including her long, dark brown hair which she typically wears down and wavy.
The Moroccan stunner told Us Weekly how she transforms her naturally tight curls into perfect tousled waves. “I used to blow out my hair all the time, but I recently stopped and I really like the beach-y look,” she said at a private lunch at the magazine’s New York City office on Tuesday.
“I spray it all over with Ryan Crupi Ocean Spray and I blow-dry the front pieces so they’re mostly smooth. Then, I use a round brush just on the ends so they don’t look ratty.”
Chriqui also shared that while her real-life beauty and fashion routine is relatively fuss-free (she prefers to style herself for the red carpet), it takes “hours and hours” to transform into her TV alter ego, “even when Sloan’s just rolling out of bed.”
