The official premiere date for the new series Superman & Lois was announced! The series will be premiering on Tuesday, February 23 at 9pm on The CW network. Emmanuelle co-stars in the series as Lana Lang.

Emmanuelle Chriqui was recently interviewed by Hollywood Life about her upcoming CW series Superman & Lois. She talked about how the new series is different from the beloved Smallville series, saying:

“This version of Superman & Lois is really reimagined, so it really is like a family drama with the backdrop of Superman and the whole superhero world,” Emmanuelle told HollywoodLife while discussing the EMA Awards, which airs Aug. 21. “The characters are so grounded and real and nuanced, so Superman, Lois, and Lana Lang are all adults now with children. It is a real departure from when they were younger in Smallville, and I think like anything it will be really about finding the truth of the character in whatever they are going through. That is where I will always definitely start, and good writing informs the rest.”

Em also discussed her reprising her role for a potential sequel of the Netflix holiday movie, The Knight Before Christmas:

“Yes, I totally would,” the actress told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “It was so fun. I had never done a Christmas movie before, and there is something really really nice about doing something that is light and cheerful and kind of sentimental. It was really sweet and a really great experience. I would absolutely be on board for that!”

Emmanuelle Chriqui will be attending the 2020 Environmental Media Awards virtually! The awards ceremony will be streaming live Thursday, August 20 at 5 p.m. PST (8 p.m. EST) on several social media channels and will also be included in full on the EMA Instagram page afterwards.

The live ceremony is scheduled to stream on both the EMA YouTube and Facebook pages, as well as social accounts for Artists United for Amazonia and several public figures. Following the event’s initial airing, the entire awards show will be uploaded and available to view on the EMA Instagram page.

The new series in which Emmanuelle plays Lana Lang, Superman & Lois, will be premiering in January 2021! The CW announced the series will premiere sometime in January 2021 on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 PM.

The series has not begun filming yet due to the Cornoavirus pandemic, so hopefully the January 2021 will come to life with no more delays.

Emmanuelle Chriqui will be starring as Lana Lang in the upcoming CW series, Superman & Lois, according to TVLine. The series has not begun filming yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was ordered directly to series by the CW in January 2020.

Lana is a loan officer at Smallville Bank, [she] will reestablish her friendship with Clark Kent “during one of the most difficult periods in her life.”

Emmanuelle is currently doing a virtual meet and greet for Charitybuzz, with the proceeds going to help with COVID-19 relief organizations!
